About EcoKids Craft Camps:
EcoKids Craft Camps are run by Jacqui at Vintage Chic ReLoved, an experienced primary school teacher with 15 years in the classroom, and a passionate, avid upcycler. Classes are kept small, with a maximum of 8 children per session, so every child gets plenty of support and attention.
For children staying for the full day, the morning's structured craft is followed by a walk along the river, then a relaxed afternoon of free-flow crafting.
Week 1
Tuesday 20 October — Sustainable Autumn Wreaths
Get creative with our sustainable autumn wreaths, made using fabric offcuts! Children are welcome to bring a piece of fabric from home, but fabric (and everything else needed) will be provided.
Wednesday 21 October — Trainer Glow-Ups & Shoe Upcycling
Bring your trainers back to life! Using decoupage and paint, children will give a pair of shoes a festive glow-up ready for the Christmas season. Please bring a pair of shoes to upcycle.
Thursday 22 October — Foraged Pinecone Table Decorations
A beautiful seasonal table decoration made from foraged pinecones. Children are welcome to bring a pinecone they've found themselves, but plenty will also be available on the day.
Week 2
Monday 26 October — Sustainable Autumn Wreaths
Back by popular demand! Another chance to make a beautiful autumn wreath using fabric offcuts. Please bring a piece of fabric from home to keep things sustainable.
Tuesday 27 October — Preloved Jewellery Making
Turn preloved jewellery into something new! Please bring a piece of jewellery with you, ideally with larger beads that are already threaded, ready to be transformed.
Wednesday 28 October — Pencil Case Upcycling using fabric offcuts.
A no-sew, no-zip pencil case made from fabric offcuts, glued together and ready to fill with pens! A fun, simple upcycling project for all ages.
Thursday 29 October — Painted Pumpkin Pots
Paint your own terracotta pot ready for mini pumpkins! Children take home pumpkin seeds to plant in spring, watch them grow and hopefully have their very own mini pumpkins by next Halloween.
Friday 30 October — Trick-or-Treat Basket Upcycling
Bring a bowl or tin can from home and transform it into your very own Halloween trick-or-treat basket ready for a night of sweet collecting!
